Prologue - Yosha! Here we come, Long Beach!
Everything is ready. My stuff is packed. I'm clean. I'm ready to go to
California. Of course, it being the 4th of July, Terry and I go to Anthony's
house before we head to Val's for fireworks. Of course, 3 hours of chocking on
smoke and watching TJ and some random guy who lived across the street almost
blow each other up was fun, but nothing compared to what will happen this
weekend!
Before we leave, TJ complains that he wants to go. Thus the question
"Well, if you have money.." his reply? "I have 240 in the bank,
is that enough" -.- Much more then I had (180) oh well. ^_^; So, we run to
the bank at 10 at night, of course, 18 police cars where flying around the
behind the bank. If they thought we robbed the bank, it would of looked bad. All
of us would have money. Me and TJ getting some from the bank, and Terry in the
"Get away car" counting his thousand! Us getting out of there kind of fast
running to someone's house and going to California in a car that has none of our
name on it as owners. Well, it looked much worse to use, and much more amusing.
We get to Val's, get a few things ready, and off to California!
Of course, we made a stop in Barstow to eat at Jack in the Box. The Jack in the Box COMPLETELY SCREWED UP MY ORDER! So, I mostly starved. Mind you, we found a Game World aka "The Import Store" and took pictures in front of it, it made us feel at home. Closer and closer we come to the con, finally getting into Long Beach.. of course.. after some how ending up in a town that looked like it was in Michigan! We get to our crappy ass hotel that was a mile away from the con, and get ready to set forth.. to AX2001!!
