She was said to be the strongest and bravest hunter of Pioneer 1. Who was she really though? People saw her as a strong girl who was afraid of nothing, but as we read from her messages.. perhaps she was alot weaker then people put her off to be? Maybe she was strong, just not compared to what was deep under Ragol. This page is a small shrine to skilled hunter, "Red Ring" Rico Tyrell.

~Her Story~

As a child, Rico was fascinated by the stories of her ancestors. All about their adventures and battles. Stories of the "chosen heroes", "Sacred Weapons" And even the evil known as Dark Falz. Her father was a skilled hunter as well, so she also looked up to him. He told her that one day, when she was a skilled hunter, he would pass down the legendary sword that helped defeat the darkness.

As Pioneer 1 set off, her father, who we know as Principal Tyrell, sent her with it for her own safety. During that long 7 year journey, Rico was always surrounded by Hunters. The Hunters amazed her. They where like the heroes her father told her about. By the time Pioneer 1 landed and the central dome was built, Rico was a young women, already exploring the Forests of Ragol, in search of adventure and someone she heard was dead.

~Her Adventure~

Rico's first real adventure began when Pioneer 2 was making contact with the Central Dome. Suddenly, boom! A gigantic explosion, and suddenly the native animals started acting up. Rico wanted to check everything out, this was when her nick name surfaced. "Red Ring Rico" the people called her, because of the red ring on her finger that she's always had. Rico just went along with it, even though deep inside she was scared. It was her urge of being a hunter that pushed her farther.

Rico tried to enter the Central Dome, but found these was no way end. She then discovered the caves. A place where mutated monsters run about. Why where they mutated? This is where Rico saw a gigantic worm who's tentacles went into native animals and turned them into mutants. She had no choice but to go deeper into the dark caves, till she stumbled on what looked to be mines. She soon discovered that these mines where really gigantic computers and a lab. These where Government's Robots attacking her, not monsters. She was confused at first, but then finally found the sealed door. She knew the Government was using her, as well as other hunters to seek something.

The sealed door opened. Rico could tell that there was a big battle here in these "ruins" before she came along. Pioneer 1s Army, or at least, what was left of it. Rico was worried, because the one she was looking for was one of the Generals of this army, Heathcliff Flowen. As Rico went deeper and deeper in the ruins, she realized that she was not in any sort of ruins, but a spaceship buried underground, sealed from the outside world. What was sealed in here?

"Profound Darkness"

The Profound Darkness that returns every millennium, with only two goals. Seek a strong body with a weak soul, and then.. destroy.

Rico was strong, but her soul was weakening.. then "IT" took her.

~The Search~

This is where your journey begins. All hunters of Pioneer 2 where sent down to find out what happened.. And slowly we discover the truth of what lied under Ragol. As you search though the Forest, Caves, and Mines.. you slowly peer into Rico's mind by the messages that she left. Thanks to her, you where able to make your way to the Ruins.

You search the ruins, only finding horrible monsters and more cryptic messages from unknown people. Rico translated the best she could, but did it help at all? What IS "Muut Ditts Poumn" ? Could this be referring to what the people before Pioneer 1 left? Only true PS fans can tell..

Where is Rico? And what is waiting at the end of this "casket" ?

Dark Falz

The spawn of Profound Darkness, who was searching for a new host body so that it could live again at full power. Would Rico be this host? Or would it desire many more souls and bodies?

Does Dark Falz have Rico? Is she alive, dead? That's for the hunters to find out. Some would say Dark Falz killed her, and when Dark Falz was killed, he released her soul. As the "URAENDING" would say. Though, if you beat the game in ultimate with all the right powers.. you get the truth. Rico's return home, because of you rescuing her. What is the real truth? The truth I believe, or the truth I do not? You decide.

~Why Rico?~

Personally, I think Rico is my idea of an ideal woman. She has power, fight, and an attitude that keeps people running from her, or worshipping her. She also had looks to kill for. She was brave, strong, and sexy.. and she has cute glasses. how could I not resist? ^_^
